LTO plates, registration papers can now be claimed in 3 days

|July 22, 2025
Filipino motorists can now get their vehicle registration papers and license plates in as fast as three days through the new online platform officially launched by the Land Transportation Office (LTO) and the Department of Transportation (DOTr) yesterday.
If that sounds like a promise, maybe because it’s the PRMIS, the Plate Registration Management Information System, spearheaded by DOTr Secretary Vince Dizon and LTO Assistant Secretary Vigor Mendoza II, aims to complete registration and license plate transactions within 72 hours.
The LTO quietly tested the system's speed and efficiency, achieving the three-day turnaround time before its official launch.
