The Magnolia Hotshots stayed part of a crowded party atop the leaderboard - thanks to an escape win over the Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters.

The Hotshots lost control of the match on a Phoenix siege at endgame but made the stoppage at winning time, thus, eking out an 83-80 win and keeping a spot with the leaders in the PBA Philippine Cup elims.
Jerom Lastimosa drained two charities to make it a three-point game at 83-80 then the Hotshots foiled the Fuel Masters' last attempt at a basket as Magnolia emerged triumphant in a PBA Halloween special at the Ynares Sports Center in Antipolo.
