Danao brgys back PRO-7's drive vs illegal gun-making

The campaign against illegal gun manufacturing gained further momentum as barangay officials in Danao City, Cebu voluntarily surrendered additional tools believed to be used in crafting homemade weapons.

In a continued clearing operation at dawn on Thursday, May 22, police recovered another cache of suspected gun-making tools in Barangay Dungga.
The operation, according to the Police Regional Office (PRO)-7 is part of its intensified crackdown against loose firearms, particularly in areas historically linked to illegal gun manufacturing.
Following the appeal of PRO7 Regional Director, Police Brigadier General Redrico A. Maranan, to local leaders to take an active role in the campaign, barangay officials of Dungga turned over several abandoned tools they reportedly discovered within their jurisdiction.
