Cebu City extends help to neighbors

While Cebu City continues to grapple with the aftermath of Typhoon Tino, the city government has extended assistance to neighboring localities in response to urgent calls for support from the cities of Talisay and Mandaue.

The coordinated response reflects a deep-rooted spirit of bayanihan and regional solidarity among Cebuanos, as stressed by Cebu City Mayor Nestor Archival in a post on his official social media account.
"In times of need, Cebu City will always be ready to help our neighbors," said Archival in the same statement.
"Upon the request of Talisay City, we delivered 20 portable toilets to support their relief operations for families affected by Typhoon Tino," he added.
Archival emphasized that this is a simple but meaningful act that "reflects the enduring partnership—working together to ensure that help and compassion reach those who need it most."
