Capitol starts to livestream bidding

Next bid was the supply and delivery of a 500-kVA generator set for the Carcar Provincial Hospital, worth P3.5 million, and the acquisition of 10,000 vials of anti-rabies vaccine, estimated at P18 million.

Provincial Administrator Joseph Felix Mari “Ace” Durano said the live streaming aims to promote transparency and accountability, giving both bidders and the general public access to the process.

“Tanan interested, whether bidder or general public lang, makita sa live kung giunsa pag tan-aw sa mga bids sa gi-submit, giunsa pag declare sa nakapasar,” he explained.

Durano added that, during the opening of bids, submitted envelopes are examined one by one to check for compliance with the requirements.
