Twist in activist's murder: Police arrest wife's lover

A twist has emerged in the murder of activist Nakul Bhoir (40), as police on Wednesday arrested his wife's lover in connection with the crime.

Bhoir was found dead in his flat at Manik Colony in Pimpri-Chinchwad on Oct 24, allegedly strangled to death by his wife, Chaitali Nakul Bhoir (28), who was arrested the same day by Chinchwad Police.

Bhoir was an aspiring politician, an office-bearer of the Maratha Seva Sangh and Sambhaji Brigade. Chaitali’s lover, Sidharth Deepak Pawar (21) of Link Road, was arrested on Wednesday.
