Minor stabbed to death 34 times in public view

A 16-year-old girl was stabbed multiple times in Rohini area of New Delhi by a youngster and battered with a stone slab, as people passed by nonchalantly, doing nothing.

Officials told News 18 it was a "crime of passion" and the suspect has been arrested. The post-mortem report says she was stabbed 34 times and both her abdomen and skull were ruptured. Grisly TV footage showed how for a sickening moment, the girl goes still, as if frozen in time, but the barbarism doesn't cease. The perpetrator held the minor against a wall with his left hand as he struck her repeatedly with a knife.
