Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Friday, urging central approval for an All India Institute of Medical Sciences at Kinalur in Kozhikode and pressing for a grant of 22,221 crore for rehabilitation efforts in Wayanad.
He also sought permission to borrow 26,000 crore for land acquisition tied to National Highway projects, asserting that Kerala’s borrowing capacity must be restored.
