Rudra may be shadow of banned Mahadev betting app

The suspicion arises from the fact that both names are derived from Lord Shiva.

Police officials suspect Rudra could be a rebranded version of the Mahadev syndicate’s digital betting empire. They are now focusing on tracing its kingpin and multi-crore money trails, which may be spread across the country.

Police officials said that the arrested accused have been taken on a two-day remand and are being questioned to trace the persons who created the app and were running it.
