Potter's bag conjures up chemistry Nobel

Scientists Susumu Kitagawa, Richard Robson and Omar Yaghi have won the 2025 Nobel Prize in chemistry for pioneering a revolutionary form of molecular architecture that could help tackle some of humanity’s most pressing challenges, including climate change and water scarcity.

Robson, 88, is affiliated with the University of Melbourne in Australia; Kitagawa, 74, with Japan's Kyoto University; and Yaghi, 60, with the University of California, Berkeley.
