Police foil murder plot over rivalry

In a swift preventive action, the Pimpri-Chinchwad Police foiled a gang's plan to commit murder over a business rivalry between two scrambled egg (Anda Bhurji) stalls in Sangvi.

Eight suspects, including six minors, have been apprehended, officials said on Wednesday.

The case has been registered at Sangvi Police Station following a report by Constable Pradip Godambe of the citys Anti-Extortion Squad. The two adult accused were identified as Aryan Fand (19), a resident of Ranjangaon, and Guru Singh (23) from Madhya Pradesh.
