Only female officers can document testimonies of female victims: HC

Following strict observations from the High Court regarding procedural lapses in criminal investigations, the Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police (DGP) has issued a formal order requiring that statements of female victims be recorded exclusively by women police officers.
The directive was communicated through an official letter sent to all field units.
