Members of Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha and Hasiru Sene held a protest against the district administration and Karnataka Power Transport Corporation Limited (KPTCL) in the city on Monday protesting against the proposed construction and placement of high tension (HT) power lines over their agricultural land from Basthipura to Kadakola.
They shouted slogans against both authorities for initiating the line against their interests.
