Citizens of the Meri-Mhasrul area staged a protest on Friday against poor road conditions, alleging that four people have died in pothole-related accidents on the RTO Corner-Rashbihari School link road in the past two months.

Hundreds gathered on the street, shouting slogans against the administration and warning of an intense agitation if immediate measures are not taken. Protesters said that despite repeated representations to the municipal corporation, authorities have failed to act.
