Dadar residents make a splash, demand fish market relocation

HOOK A FIGHT
Despite police denying permission for the protest, residents of Swarajya CHS in Dadar and nearby areas braved heavy rainfall to stage demonstrations on Sunday noon, demanding the permanent relocation of the Dadar fish market from Senapati Bapat Marg.
The residents have been urging the BMC to move the market to an alternate plot identified in Wadala.
Since the closure of the Elphinstone Bridge, traffic issues in the area have multiplied, and the fish market is adding to the chaos, according to residents.
