CM Revanth sanctions Rs 60 Cr for welfare hostels’ essential needs

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has sanctioned Rs 60 crore from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund (CMRF) to meet urgent expenses in BC, SC, ST, and Minority welfare hostels across Telangana. The funds will cover essential needs such as diet charges, temporary staff salaries, repairs to motor equipment, and other emergency maintenance works.

At a comprehensive review meeting held at ICCC, the Chief Minister handed over cheques to senior officials of the concerned welfare departments. He directed that welfare hostels and educational institutions must adopt facial recognition systems to ensure accountability and accurate data on students, teaching, and non-teaching staff.
