BENGALURU’S POTHOLES: A DAILY GAMBLE ON ROADS

Every day, as I grip the steering wheel or balance on a two-wheeler, I whisper a silent prayer before navigating Bengaluru’s infamous roads. Driving here is less a commute and more a test of reflexes, patience, and fate. Potholes appear after every drizzle, as if the asphalt itself has surrendered. Some lurk under flyovers, others in busy markets, many right in the middle of arterial roads—lying in wait for their next victim.

Bengaluru may be the nation’s tech hub, but its infrastructure tells a tale of apathy. Civic authorities have mastered selective blindness, ignoring residents who plead for change.
