TMC bid for a front to unseat DMK

At a general council meeting in Pallavaram, Chennai, G. K. Vasan, president of the Tamil Maanila Congress, urged like-minded parties to join forces and supplant the Dr-avida Munnetra Kazhagam in the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly election.

Vasan called for intensified campaigning and alliance building under the leadership of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam-led coalition in order to secure seats for his party and defeat the ruling Dravidian major.
