State police headquarters will convene senior officers by Thursday to assess fallout and launch disciplinary measures following CCTV-verified custodian assaults, Police Chief Ravada A Chandrasekhar has declared.
The meeting will form the centrepiece of the department's enforcement of its zero-tolerance approach to custodial torture, including a comprehensive internal strategy to purge the force of such misconduct.
