Melodious evening leaves audience spell-bound

At the Abhirang Auditorium of Kalidas Sanskrit Academy, the cultural wing of LIC, Jeevan Sangeet, organised a melodious evening, ‘Jeevan ke Rang, Geeton ke Sang’. The singers captivated the audience with popular film songs, drawing repeated rounds of applause.

Renowned film critic Shashank Dubey, the chief guest of the event, praised the aptness of the programme’s theme, remarking that music is inseparable from Indian social life, be it weddings, festivals such as Holi and Diwali, birthdays, picnics, or parties. He added, “Listening to songs is the shortest investment of time with instant happiness in return.”
