HUL Q2 PAT rises 4% to ₹2,694 cr

Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) on Thursday reported a 4% increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 2,694 crore for the second quarter of FY25-26 as against Rs 2,595 crore, posted in the corresponding period of the previous year.

Priya Nair, chief executive and managing director of HUL, said, "We delivered a competitive performance with an underlying sales growth of 2%, and an EBITDA margin of 23.2% in the quarter. The latest GST reforms are a positive step by the government to drive consumption, expected to increase disposable income and improve consumer sentiment.
