Govardhan Asrani, aged 84 and survived by his wife, posted his final message on social media for his numerous fans wishing them a Happy Diwali. Contrary to his onscreen persona—one resonating with over-the-top comedy, often bordering on slapstick, and a boisterous screen presence—the octogenarian wished for a private farewell, away from the media glare.
