Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, in a most trustworthy interview with IT Network’s Executive Editor Manoj Manu, bares it all on the economy of Madhya Pradesh, BJP’s strategies and election tactics...
-
Q: Mohan Ji, the government has completed 100 days, what are those plans that have been brought for the society, which were very necessary, which no one has done?
A: We have prepared 100 plans in 100 days, we have learned from Modi Ji, taking firm decisions, making decisions for the welfare of all, and implementing them rigorously. The bureaucracy implements my decisions, progress stops when one becomes satisfied.
Q: Someone once said that you have administrative capability within you, you denied it, what’s the story?
A: The subject was about the Deputy Collector, they were chairmen. I said I’m not here for the job. At the age of 2526, I said, will you make a Deputy Collector? Collectors will work under me. (Said with a smile)
Q: You came from the city of Mahakal, how does it feel? A: I apologized to them. God calls, when I was chairman of UDAI, they worked as CEOs, but when I became chairman of Tourism, Hariranjana Rao, Pankaj became my MP, during which they came to me after 15 years. They congratulated me, it was a good confidence boost for them to see that my MDs were IAS, but nothing remarkable.
