UFFF YE SIYAPAA

Silent cinema has always carried a charm of its own, though most memorable ones were from the yesteryears of cinema's evolution.

When a filmmaker chooses to tell a story without dialogue, it is the visuals, expressions, and background score that entertain the audience.

Ufff Yeh Siyapaa, directed by G. Ashok, is one such ambitious attempt in current times.

While the film deserves credit for daring to experiment in a dialogue-driven industry, it sometimes leaves the audience confused and requires an extra effort to understand the story. Though it works well as a musical comedy of errors with some thrilling twists, as a true silent film, it sometimes falls short.

Kesari Lal Singh (Sohum Shah), a mild-mannered man whose life spirals into chaos after a series of misunderstandings, as his wife Pushpa (Nushrratt Bharuccha) suspects him of being involved with their glamorous neighbour Kamini (Nora Fatehi). At the same time, a wrongly delivered drug parcel and a sudden appearance of dead bodies turn his home into a madhouse.
