Know Your Skin Type Before You Care for It Nature has gifted us with different skin types, and recognizing yours is the first step toward creating a regimen that brings out your natural beauty. Broadly, skin types fall into three categories: dry, oily, and combination.

Dry Skin Dry skin often feels stretched, looks dull, and may show fine lines prematurely, especially around the eyes and mouth. This skin type is particularly sensitive to weather changes and needs constant hydration.

My Ayurvedic Recommendation: Choose a gentle, hydrating face wash. Exfoliate once a week with a fine-grain scrub like Shascrub, formulated with herbal extracts that gently buff away dead cells. Use a rich moisturizer and night serum with herbal actives to lock in moisture. Stick to chemical-free formulations, as dry skin reacts adversely to synthetic ingredients.
