The third day of SIT interrogation regarding Muppidi Avinash Reddy, in connection with the liquor scam that occurred during the YSRCP government's tenure, has concluded.
Muppidi Avinash Reddy
It is reported that on Wednesday—the final day of questioning—SIT officials interrogated Avinash Reddy for seven hours, posing over 100 questions. During the interrogation, Avinash Reddy (Accused No. 7) stated that Raj Kasireddy was the one who managed all the shell companies established for the purpose of laundering the proceeds from the liquor trade. Information suggests that he revealed during questioning that these shell companies were set up under the pretext of providing services such as packaging and logistics; through these entities, fake invoices were generated to divert the illicit funds.
