School kids acquire remote-controlled bomb technique from YouTube, detonate on teacher

As many as 13 students of the 12th grade of the government school in Bhiwani's Bapora village have been suspended for a week for allegedly planting a firecracker-like bomb under the plastic chair of a female teacher who narrowly escaped unhurt.

The explosion caused a hole under the chair.

The decision was taken by the Haryana Education Department to deliver a stern message to the students. The school staff said the incident was life-threatening.
