After being away from the shooting range for over a year due to his father's illness, Sartaj Tiwana arrived in Jaipur determined to overcome the mental exhaustion that had been his constant companion, as per a release.

The final-year student of Masters in Public Administration at Lovely Professional University knew that the Khelo India University Games Rajasthan 2025 was likely his last opportunity to regain his winning rhythm ahead of the Senior National Shooting Championships.
The 23-year-old did that and more, clinching the Men's 50m Rifle 3-Position gold and helping his university secure the team gold at the Jagatpura Shooting Range.
