Ramayan is the classic story we all have grown up with, hearing it from our parents, grandparents, teachers, and several theatrical and cinematic presentations.
Cinema, particularly animation, is probably the most dramatic way to tell this thousands-year-old story. In this 4K release, and the first time in the theatres in India, Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama comes as a re-mastered version and is available in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
Interestingly, it's a 30-year-old Indo-Japanese co-production is now being re-leased in theatres. The film was produced by Yugo Sako in 1992 and was premiered in IFFI 1993.
