Rahul meets kumhar community people, discusses their problems

Continuing with the journey of meeting the common people, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Friday morning met with the 'kumhar' community in the national capital to understand their issues; earthen diyas remain in demand during the Diwali festival.
Rahul Gandhi, the former Congress chief, on Friday morning made a surprise visit to Kumhar Colony in Bindapur in Western Delhi's Uttam Nagar.
The kumhar community is known for its skilled pottery making and is deeply rooted in traditional pottery-making practices. They pass down their craft through generations, and earthen diyas and statues of Lord Ganesh and Laxmi remain in high demand during the Diwali festivities.
