The Delhi government has intensified its fight against air pollution, making it clear that there will be zero tolerance for industries and individuals who continue to harm the city's environment.

Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa on Monday warned that any industrial unit found violating pollution norms will be sealed immediately, as enforcement agencies launch an extensive crackdown across the capital.
The enforcement agencies have intensified inspections across Delhi, from today promising immediate sealing of units violating air-pollution norms. The same treatment awaits industries which fail to apply for the mandatory OECM certification before December 31 deadline.
