OUR CONSTITUTION IS SO ROBUST THAT NOBODY CAN TOUCH IT: AJIT PAWAR

NCP Chief Ajit Pawar in an exclusive interview with ITV Network's Anand Singh talks about Maha polls and the issues raised by MVA related to Constitution and caste and whether he will form a coalition with Sharad Pawar again
Anand: Maharashtra elections are very interesting, and we will see this in this election too, what do you think?
Ajit Pawar: Just as the country's election is important, the election of any other state is equally significant. In this, all the parties put in a lot of effort, to make their govt and I have seen this for years.
Anand: It's a litmus test for your party since your party did not perform well in the Lok Sabha elections. What do you have to say about this?
Ajit: During the Lok Sabha elections, voters primarily focused on the fake narrative which opposition made. The opposition raised questions about the need for 400 seats, suggesting that the government could be formed with 250. They claimed the demand for 400 seats was to change the Constitution, create divisions, and establish a Hindu-Muslim divide, remove reservations, and form a Hindu Rashtra. They set this narrative that onion exports were banned. In Maharashtra, most exports are related to onions. Farmers were upset due to the onion ban, and MVA got 6.1% of the vote.
Anand: You've mentioned the Constitution.
Ajit Pawar: The Constitution, 400 seats, and onions, all of these.
Anand: Now, slogans like "Bantege to katege" has been raised.
Ajit Pawar: No, no, that was in UP, not in Maharashtra. This is the land of Balasaheb. This slogan may rise in the North, but not here. He is the CM, the leader of one party. But you only consider one part. Nitin Gadkari, Pankaja Munde, and Ashok Sawant have opposed that. Why don't you see them?
Anand: If something happens with the BJP leadership, you don't give feedback on matters which could cause damage?
Ajit Pawar: First, we have to decide which subject to discuss. During the Parliament election, they understood what caused the damage and recognized it.
