PM Modi on Monday inaugurated the Delhi unit's first permanent BJP office on Deendayal Upadhyay Marg, calling it a 'temple of public service'

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday formally inaugurated the newly built office of the Delhi unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at Deendayal Upadhyay Marg, describing the occasion as a landmark in the party's organisational journey.

The foundation stone of this structure was laid on June 9, 2023, by BJP National President J.P. Nadda, and its opening has been timed with the auspicious days of Sharadiya Navratri.

Sharing the stage with the Prime Minister were BJP National President J.P. Nadda, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva, and several senior party functionaries. Earlier in the day, before the formal proceedings, Sachdeva, accompanied by his wife, performed traditional rituals and a ceremonial havan in the presence of National General Secretary (Organisation) B.L. Santosh and other senior leaders to sanctify the new premises.
