MAHARASHTRA WILL BE AN ATM FOR CONGRESS IF AGHADI WINS: AMIT SHAH

As Maharashtra gears up for assembly elections next week, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Wednesday, targeting the opposition. He said if Maha Vikas Agadhi (MVA) wins "mistakenly", then the state will turn into an "ATM for Congress."

If Aghadi mistakenly wins the elections here, Maharashtra will turn into an ATM for Congress. They will withdraw funds from Maharashtra by using the state's resources and send the money to Delhi. In contrast, if Mahayuti forms the government, the Modi administration will ensure greater development for Maharashtra," Shah said at a rally in Chalisgaon area of Jalgaon district.

He further dismissed the claims made by MVA that due to the Mahayuti government the investment in the state had stopped, countering that for the past two years the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in the state has been the most out of any other state.
