Jamwai Mata Temple, Jaipur - A Sacred Symbol of Devotion

The procession saw a large number of devotees walk from Raghunath Temple on Gandhi Path to the revered Jamvay Mata Temple.

The yatra was a vibrant display of devotion, with participants carrying red flags, accompanied by a royal procession, joyful cheers, and the lively sound of a band. According to committee president Madan Singh Khangarot and patron Jai Singh, the journey was met with a warm reception at numerous points along the route. Local residents showered the pilgrims with flowers and arranged for refreshments.

Greater Municipal Corporation chairman Gajendra Singh Chirana, councilor Kumkum Shaktawat, and Shakti Singh Manpura were among those who welcomed the devotees with refreshments and flower showers, demonstrating widespread support for the pilgrimage.

Jamwai Mata Temple, located near the historic Ramgarh Lake area of Jaipur, holds deep religious and cultural significance, especially for the Kachhwaha Rajput dynasty. The temple is dedicated to Jamwai Mata, the revered Kuldevi (family deity) of the Kachhwahas and other Rajput clans such as the Shekhawats and Narukas. This ancient shrine, though not widely commercialized, stands as a powerful symbol of divine protection, royal heritage, and unwavering faith.
