Haryana becomes most unsafe state under BJP rule: Ex-CM Hooda
The Daily Guardian|March 23, 2024
Haryana has become the most unsafe state in the country under over nine year of BJP rule while it was number one in maintaining law and order in 2014 during the Congress rule, the leader of the opposition in the state assembly Bhupinder Singh Hooda alleged claiming that I.N.D.I.A bloc would form the government at the centre and Prime Minister would be decided by the alliance after coming to power.
Haryana becomes most unsafe state under BJP rule: Ex-CM Hooda

In a special interview with NewsX channel, senior Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda alleged that as per social progress index, Haryana is the most unsafe state in India. Crime has shot up like anything and murders, rapes, dacoities and looting incidents are on the rise in the state, he added.

After nine years of BJP government, Haryana is number one in unemployment and sky-rocketing prices of essential commodities, he alleged.

'It looks like there is no government, its free for all', he added.

On the contrary, Haryana was number one in per capita income, per capita investment, in maintaining law and order and in sports. It was also number one in giving jobs in 2014 when I was CM.

Seventy percent of total Japanese investment in India had been done in Haryana at that time, he said adding that no big project came to this state after 2014.

On the question of recent change of CM, Hooda said the people were not angry only with CM or deputy CM, they were also disappointed with the working and performance of the government. No section of the society is satisfied and appreciating the government because you can see that the state is number one in unemployment.
