Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Thursday reaffirmed that strict action will be taken against Gaurav and Saurabh Luthra, the owners of Birch by Romeo Lane, after the brothers were detained in Thailand in connection with the 6 December nightclub fire that killed 25 people in Arpora. Sawant said teams from the Goa Police and the CBI will travel to Thailand to secure their deportation, stressing that the government “will bring them to Goa as soon as possible” and is committed to delivering justice to the victims.
