In Vemulawada, the presiding deity, Lord Raja Rajeshwara, appears in the form of "Neela Lohitha Siva Lingam," known for his boundless benevolence in fulfilling the wishes of the devotees.
This shrine is popularly known as 'Dakshina Kashi' (Southern Banaras) and also as "Harihara Kshetram" for their being two Vaishnava temples in the main temple complex. Vemulawada has produced eminent litterateurs in Telugu and Sanskrit.
Kaleshwaram is a town lying on the border of Telangana and Maharashtra. The town is popularly known for its ancient and famous Kaleshwara Mukteshwara Swamy Temple. This revered temple is dedicated to the worship of the powerful Lord Shiva.
