Bus fire kills 19 after crash in Andhra

At least 19 people, including two children, were charred to death after a Bengaluru-bound private passenger bus from Hyderabad caught fire following a collision with a motorbike in Andhra Pradesh’s Kurnool district early Friday morning.

Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Anitha confirmed that 17 adults and two minors were killed when the bus, carrying 39 passengers, struck a motorbike around 3 am near Chinnatekur on National Highway-44. The bus caught fire after dragging the motorbike, killing rider Shiva Kumar, a native of Kurnool.
