AI to reshape finance but human judgement remains key: Experts

Experts from the finance and technology sectors on Friday highlighted the transformative role of artificial intelligence (AI) in global finance, while stressing that human judgement will remain central to investment decisions, during a panel discussion at the NXT Conclave 2026 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
The session, titled "AI and Finance", was moderated by Tend Health CEO Dr. Namit Choksi and featured Amy Prabhu, Managing Director of NAFA Capital; Amar Shah, Managing Director and Head of Global Markets (NFPR) at Bank of America; and Bipin Bab, founder of Grow QR AI.
Speaking about India's economic trajectory, Amy Prabhu argued that the country should not be seen merely as an emerging economy but as a "reemerging market" with deep historical roots as a global economic powerhouse. He said India's growth momentum will continue across sectors ranging from life sciences and agriculture to defence, industrials and artificial intelligence.
