Open days planned for former Penlee Lifeboat Station

A SERIES of open days are being planned at the Old Penlee Lifeboat Station at Penlee Point, near Mousehole.

The station has been closed since the early 1980s, following the loss of the Penlee lifeboat Solomon Browne and her crew just before Christmas 1981.
The station will be opening between 11am and 3pm on the following dates:
Easter Monday, April 6
Bank Holiday Monday, May 25
Sunday, June 28
Sunday, July 26
Wednesday, August 12
