Strauss & Co is set to present Tim Atkin's Vintage Highlights, a special auction curated to honour the wines and vintages that internationally acclaimed wine critic, photographer and Master of Wine Tim Atkin has rated over the years.

This auction brings together many of the wines that Atkin has championed throughout his celebrated career, bottles that tell the story of South Africa's extraordinary rise as one of the world's most exciting fine wine regions.

"I'm very flattered that Strauss & Co chose to highlight many of the wines I love, and in many cases, those I've championed from the start", said Atkin from his base in London.

Following the recent release of his 2025 South African Special Report, Atkin reflected on the evolution of the country's winemaking landscape, praising the new generation of producers whose wines now show remarkable depth, energy and a true sense of place.

"The new wave of South African wines is more expressive, more confident and shows the maturity of a country coming into its own," he said.
