Race still rules 30 years into new era

I wish to reflect on where we find ourselves today after 30-odd years of democracy, especially bearing in mind Nelson Mandela's concept of a rainbow nation and FW de Klerk's vision of no more discrimination on the basis of race.
Looking back this seems to be a myth, even a fairy tale. And one wonders if the media will have the courage to print this article?
Everyone in South Africa is faced today with the following situations based on whichever party they might have believed in to promote the welfare of the country and its people.
Government, supposedly representing all the people, looked inward and today we have a legacy of the following:
