Greeff's filly to bounce back

The Non-Black Type Aloe Stakes over 1300m for three-year-old fillies heads up the card at Fairview tomorrow when they race on the Polytrack and Alan Greeff-trained Splicethemainbrace will attempt to brush off a disappointing race in the Grade 1 Cape Fillies Guineas at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth last month.

This daughter of Master Of My Fate has run eight times for six wins and two unplaced runs. Interestingly, both defeats came on soft tracks.

She was very impressive the only time she tried the Polytrack when handing rival Happy Holly a 2.25-length beating, giving her 8kg.

There is a slight change to that as, this time round, Splicethemainbrace gives that rival 8.5kg.
