Mum caught dealing in drugs three times

PLEADED GUILTY TO POSSESSION OF AMPHETAMINES, COCAINE AND CANNABIS BUT WALKED FREE FROM COURT

A MOTHER caught selling drugs three times in three years as part of a “cottage industry” with her partner has walked free from court.

Despite being under investigation by the police, Michelle Irwin and the man, who has since died, continued selling cocaine, cannabis and amphetamines.

On the first occasion, in March 2023, police were in an unmarked car on Buckingham Street, Newcastle, when they became suspicious about those in a Ford car, in which Irwin was in the front passenger seat and which her partner was driving.

When the car was searched, cannabis, amphetamines and cash were seized.

Texts indicating drug dealing were also found on a phone. When the home of Field, 57, and her partner was searched, cocaine, amphetamine and cannabis were found.
