EVERTON SQUAD IS HOSTED BY NON-LEAGUE CLUB AHEAD OF GAME AT SUNDERLAND

HEBBURN Town Football Club have reflected on the “momentous moment” that shocked fans and locals alike as Everton players trained at The Trustmark Group Stadium grounds earlier this week.
Ahead of Monday night’s Premier League fixture at the Stadium of Light, which saw Everton draw 1-1 with Sunderland, the players headed over to Hebburn Town Football Club.
Among those training included former Black Cats star Jordan Pickford, who later made an emotional return to the Stadium of Light for the first time since joining Everton - nicknamed the Toffees - in 2017.
He was joined by Jack Grealish, manager David Moyes, assistant boss Leighton Baines and the rest of the squad, who posed for photos with Hebburn Town FC staff.
Stephen Rutherford, CEO of Hebburn Town FC, told The Chronicle the opportunity was confirmed only two weeks ago.
