PREDATORY Yousuf Musa has been jailed after he repaid the kindness of one of his victims who was helping asylum seekers by subjecting her to terrifying ordeal.
Newcastle Crown Court heard Musa, who is from Ethiopia and sought asylum in the UK, asked the victim for a hug before grabbing and molesting her.
When he was arrested, he asked a police officer for a kiss then, while in a van on the way to custody, he said an officer was beautiful, asked her to sit next to him and blew kisses at her.
After being released, he followed another woman and assaulted her mother, the court heard.
Now the 28-year-old, of Green Lane, Ashington, described as being “acutely sexually preoccupied at the relevant times” and who “created opportunities to engage in predatory behaviour”, has been jailed but was told he is likely to be released soon, due to time served on remand.
The court heard Musa approached his first victim and asked her name then gave her a hug. She found this strange but said it was not completely out of the ordinary.
