Livramento given a platform to impress with the Under-21 side

AFTER a season to remember in the black and white of Newcastle United, some eyebrows were raised when Tino Livramento was left out of the England squad for this month's internationals.

The 22-year-old had another excellent campaign for Eddie Howe's side but was seemingly overlooked by Thomas Tuchel when the squad was announced.

His absence was further highlighted by two less-than-impressive performances from the Three Lions, with Saturday's 1-0 World Cup qualifier win over Andorra followed up by a 3-1 defeat to Senegal in Tuesday night's friendly.
