A POINT at Warrington Rylands was enough for Hebburn Town to remain top of the Northern Premier League Premier Division as other results fell in the Hornets’ favour.
Daniel Moore's side remain ahead of Hednesford Town on goal difference, with their title-chasing rivals also drawing prior to the two sides meeting on Tuesday evening.
Liam Murray slotted home to open the scoring for Hebburn but they were pegged back 10 minutes later by Rylands forward George Waring.
Hornets boss Moore praised his side for their performance against their fellow promotion contenders and admitted he had implemented a different game-plan to try and nullify their hosts.
