Gibraltar man rocks Galforth to earn Spartans first away win
The Chronicle
|September 01, 2025
JESSE Gomez hailed Blyth Spartans’ togetherness after they earned their first away win and first clean sheet of the season with a hard-earned victory at Garforth Town.
Colin Myers' men had to wait until eight minutes from time to grab the first goal of the game as Gibraltar youngster Gomez produced a fine finish.
The points were signed, sealed and delivered in the fourth minute of injury-time as Jack Wilson and Benji Shodeinde combined for the latter to ensure the points returned to Northumberland.
